The FLR (Florida Lambda Rail) and Internet2 is more than just a faster internet - it changes the way we do things (analogous to the jump from dial-up to cable/DSL only more). Not only a huge capacity, but peering arrangements allows for increased capacity (currently only using 1 out of 32 available channels)
